I grew up in a house with paranormal activity in Cincinnati. The spirit(s) more or less just wanted to have their presence known and were not malicious, or got out of hand. We pretty much just accepted the weird things going on and just put it to a part of the house. When I joined the Marines and had more experiences, I became interested in things that could not be explained. Knowing that my experiences earlier in my life were “the real thing” I got the feeling that many stories I heard were either made up or just imaginations running wild. When I met Honor and Mark (at different times in my life) and found they pretty much had the same interest, it just seemed logical to get together and perform scientific investigations looking to find explanations for the unexplained.

When I was very young, I had a paranormal experience at my aunt’s house that stayed with me. It has kept me interested in the paranormal, although I never pursued it until recently. Then a few years ago the owner of the company I was for working passed away and I began to experience things at work that I could not explain. I began to wonder what was really going on. I am searching for answers. I do believe there is something there, but I look for every logical way to debunk an experience until all avenues are exhausted, then I’m left with the questions I am seeking the answers to.

I first became interested in the paranormal when I was in high school. We were visiting my grandparents and I was lying on the couch watching TV when I had the feeling that my grandpa walked through the room and left. Later that night when we were at home, we learned that my grandpa committed suicide while we were there. While I can’t be positive that my feelings were actually him or even if they were real, I have never experienced a feeling like that since.
I dated Brian in high school and he lived in a creepy house. I was friends with his sister and was there with her one night. She went outside to talk with some friends leaving me alone in the house. As I sat in the family room watching TV, I heard footsteps walking down the stairs on the other side of the wall. They came down and right before I could see who it was, it turned and went back up. With my friend outside, I was the only one in the house.
Starting with the feeling I had when my grandpa passed away, I just became interested in what is out there for us when we die. Brian and I met Mark and Russ and we all shared a common interest in strange happenings, so it seemed only logical that we get together and research/investigate looking for answers.

Starting at a very young age I had personal experiences in the home I spent the first eleven years of my life in. I saw full body apparitions as well as heard voices. As a teen I lived in other countries and had a totally different experience in my home in Germany. This was a little more personal and very hard to explain. The experience I had as a teen is really what got me involved in this field. I’m forever now on a constant search for answers. Getting these answers as well as helping people understand and feel safe is my main objective.
