Claims of Activity

 There are many claims of activities ranging from hearing voices, seeing apparitions, people having items thrown at them.  There is an underground river that flows under the theater.  Because running water creates energy, it is believed that spirits can pull from this energy to manifest.

The Investigation

 At one point we had some investigators in the basement who heard a voice, but other than that, this cold January night went pretty much uneventful.

Equipment Used

This investigation we used the 4-camera DVR system, camcorders, voice recorders, K-II meters, and EMF meters.

The Conclusion

 Despite bringing in extra investigators and setting up almost all of our equipment, we did not capture any evidence.  We had no personal experiences.  The highlight of our night occurred when we all left our equipment running and went outside.  We quickly had 3 Columbus, Indiana police cars in front of us questioning why we were standing in front of the theater early in the morning in the extreme cold.  It took some explaining but everything worked out.

Claims of activity:

 We were called into this private residence to help the client with a possible demonic situation.  The client claimed the entity would touch/grab her while she was in bed, it would crate lots of noise/popping noises, the strong smell of feces’ and just being mentally tormented.  According to the client, the dog would act strange and bark at nothing, things move on their own including a bathroom trashcan being thrown into the hall.

The Investigation:

Overall, the investigation was quiet.  Nobody had any personal experiences nor did we catch anything on audio or video.  Not convinced that there was nothing in the house, I contacted Brian Clark, a demonologist from OASIS (Ohio Angelic and Spirit Investigation Services) and he felt the need to speak to the client and experience the house along with his partner.  We’ve experienced more during his presence than we did on the investigation.  We’ve heard lots of noises from other rooms.  Brian was convinced there was something there and performed a spiritual cleansing.  After prayers, the client commented on how much better it felt in the house.  The client said it the air felt lighter and the whole house felt warmer.

Equipment Used:

 During the investigation we used a 4-camera DVR system, audio recorders, hand held video cameras, EMF detectors, KII meters, and digital cameras.

The Conclusion:

We found the client’s furnace was putting out extremely high EMFs as well as a HVAC duct in her dining room.  We told her about the EMF readings and the effects such high EMFs can have on a person and recommended that she should contact an electrician to have these issues fixed.  We don’t have any evidence to share, but we are completely convinced that our friend Brian Clark was able to find a presence that was hiding and successfully drive it out.

Claims of Activity

According to the owner and employees, they have heard footsteps, seen a shadow/apparition in the basement, paper being pushed off printers, a toolbox being shaken by it self

The Investigation

Because our last investigation had us faced with so many adversities, the owner of Otto Printing allowed us to come back and investigate again. As of the writing of this, we are one of two groups to investigate Otto Printing.  For this we are truly thankful to Otto Printing and wish to continue our friendship.

Throughout the night our investigators had experiences ranging from having bad feeling to hearing knocks and footsteps.  A few times a couple investigators witnessed disembodied voices.  They actually heard voices with their ears and on one occasion we were able to pick up the voice as well as the investigator stating she heard it.

Equipment Used

This night we deployed our DVR system, audio recorders, video cameras, ghost box, laser grid lights, a PC Box, EMF detectors, and K-II meters, and digital cameras.

The Conclusion

Our last conclusion of Otto Printing was inconclusive.  This time we can definitely say that there is paranormal activity there.  Our night gave us personal experiences as well as quite a bit of evidence to back up the owner’s claims.

Claims of Activity

We got called into a private residence to investigate a wide range of claims from feelings of being watched, family members being touched by things that are not there, full bodied apparitions, and pets reacting negatively to unseen things.

The Investigation

The house was constructed in 1953 in a Cincinnati suburb.  While some of the activity has been experienced by other members of the family in different areas of the house, it seems that most of the activity was centered either with a teen aged girl, and/or her room.  Besides setting up equipment in her room and performing EVP sessions, we also had her participate later on during the investigation.  We wanted to see if having her and/or her boyfriend in the room with us asking questions during EVP sessions would give us more activity.  Throughout the night, every investigator felt totally at ease in the house.  We had a few interesting things happen like a few erratic K-II hits.  Once or twice, investigators thought they heard voices.

Equipment Used

This night we used our DVR system, video cameras, audio recorders, EMF detectors, K-II meters, and digital cameras.

The Conclusion

Everyone felt comfortable throughout the house and had no personal experiences.  We wrapped up the investigation and went home.  When we started reviewing our evidence we found some pretty impressive EVPs.  Because of what we caught we can say that there is definitely some activity going on there.  Because the EVPs seemed to be interacting with us we can say that whatever is in the house is intelligent as opposed to residual or poltergeists activity.

Claims of Activity

We were called to investigate the USS Nightmare because there have been reports of shadows being seen, feelings of being watched and just a general creepy feeling.  People have also claimed to have been touched.

The Investigation

The USS Nightmare is a boat used as a haunted house for Halloween.  We knew it would be a challenging investigation because of all the Halloween props and additional work to make it a funhouse.  The night started slow but progressed as time went on.

We have had some personal experiences including feelings of being watched, hearing a whisper in an investigator’s ear, and a lot of knocking.  We did not notice the knocking when we were in other parts of the boat, only when we were in the lower level.  Unfortunately, it’s not enough for us to call it paranormal.

The position of the boat on the Ohio River next to a road bridge and with people walking by the boat, sometimes talking loudly gave us a lot of contamination.  We had some noises and voices on our audio recorders that we could not definitely determine that came from within the boat.  Because of our uncertainty of these noises and voices, we cannot present them as evidence or put on the website.

Equipment Used

On this investigation we used a 4 camera DVR system, video cameras, digital cameras, 6 voice recorders, KIIs, and digital EMF detectors.

The Conclusion

Despite the personal experiences we had, at this time we will have to say that our conclusion is inconclusive.  We feel that the experiences we had aboard the USS Nightmare isn’t enough for us to say that we have undeniable doubt or evidence that there is something there.  We would cherish the opportunity to investigate it again.

Claims of Activity

We traveled quite a distance to investigate an historic opera house and theater with some very unusual claims. Originally built in 1871, and added on in 1941, Rohs (pronounced Ross) has running water traveling under the stage. Running water is thought to be a conductor of paranormal activity. The current owners are in the process of restoring this spectacular building back to its original glory. Renovations are another trigger that brings on paranormal activity.

In the theater area, the claims of activity are lights bounce around, there have been successful intelligent conversations using a K-II tool, and whistling. It is said that women are targets for the spirits here. Women feel tugging on their pants/dresses.

In the second floor hallway, they have reported hearing footsteps and whistling. There are doors on both sides of the hallway and both doors are reported to open by themselves. Again women get tugged on. Many cold spots have been reported here as well.

In the balcony, there are metal coat hangers on a bar. It is said that they move as well as hostile feelings. A lady in white is said to be seen in the projection room. In the opera room, reports of chairs moving and sounds of what sounds like metal dragging on the hard wood floors.

The Investigation

For the most part the night went uneventful. We even had our two female investigators working together hoping to double our chances of getting some personal experiences in the theater and second floor hallway. We had several pieces of equipment that kept having the batteries drain prematurely. Some personal experiences included hearing a breath and other noises in the theater area. Another investigator heard whistling in the second floor hallway.

Equipment Used

We used our DVR surveillance system as well as many video cameras, both stationary and mobile with groups. We had digital audio recorders throughout the building and carried a few with our groups in the hopes of catching any disembodied voices or other noises that were reported. We also used laser lights to help us catch shadows, EMF detectors, and KIIs.

Conclusion

Even though we didn’t have many personal experiences, with everything that we captured on audio and video, we will have no problem saying Rohs Opera House definitely has paranormal activity.

Throughout the establishment there are claims of people being touched, shadows being seen with the naked eye as well as caught on video and still cameras, evps are to be common all over the bar and in the basement.

The Investigation

During the investigation, a few of the investigators had personal experiences. Two of the investigators were standing on either side of a door and both thought they saw a shadow on the other side of the open door. When they would look, the shadow would take a side-step out of view. Searching the area with a flashlight revealed no living person in the area. Two investigators traveling as a team were the only ones in the basement and while sitting in the well room performing an EVP session, they clearly heard footsteps walking past the well room.

Conclusion

Even though we were not able to capture any audio, video, or photo evidence to provide, but given the personal experiences we’ve had during this investigation as well as the ghost tours we conduct at Bobby Mackey’s does leave us scratching our heads. We believe that there are enough things going on here to allow us to say that Bobby Mackey’s Music World definitely has paranormal activity going on.

During the night, there were some personal experiences. One of our investigator and an employee who was with us both felt a breeze on the back of their necks. Despite all of us feeling around for a draft, none was found. In a third floor apartment, an employee jumped and said she had her leg pinched. We had the misfortune of performing an investigation during Italian fest on Newport on the Levee. We had outside contamination coming through the walls and windows. A thunderstorm also didn’t help our investigation. Throughout the night, the only evidence that we captured were 2 EVPs.

During the night, we were using a DVR system, many video cameras, digital voice recorders, digital cameras, EMF detectors, and KIIs.

Conclusion

Despite the evidence we captured and the personal experiences, we conclude this investigation to be inconclusive.
